Transportation
The campus is located in Champaign, Illinois and is 135 miles (217 km) south of Chicago, 124 miles (200 km) west of Indianapolis, Indiana, and 178 miles (286 km) northeast of St. Louis, Missouri. To arrive in Champaign, you can chose one of the following four options.
- It is best to fly into our regional airport, University of Illinois Willard Airport (CMI), using American Airlines or United Airlines. The campus is less than a 10 minute cab ride from the airport. You can also use Uber or Lyft from the CMI airport.
- Fly into one of the major airports in Chicago (O’Hare International Airport or Chicago Midway International Airport) and a 2.5 hour drive or a 3 hour shuttle bus ride (Peoria Charter or Illini Shuttle).
- Fly into Indianapolis International Airport, and a 2 hour drive. Rental cars are available on the airport and very convenient.
- Fly into Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) in Bloomington, Illinois using Delta Airlines or American Airlines, and drive 1 hour. Rental cars on the airport.
